Common Processes During Bending Pipe Processing

There are many types of bending pipe processing techniques, and different techniques result in different efficiency, quality, and other factors in producing bent pipes. For operators, it is necessary to understand the bending pipe processing techniques. Next, let's talk about the common processes used in Xuzhou bend pipe processing.

Common processes during bending pipe processing:

Bending is a commonly used method in Xuzhou pipe bending processing. There are two types of bending equipment: manual bending and bending by a pipe bending machine. Manual bending is suitable for small batch production because it does not require specialized bending equipment. The bending device is simple, the manufacturing cost is low, and it is also easy to adjust. However, it has high labor intensity and low productivity, and is mainly suitable for small batch production situations.

According to the bending forming method, it can be divided into rolling bending, pressing bending, pushing bending, and bending. According to whether a mold is used during bending, it can be divided into mold bending and non mold bending. According to whether a core rod is used during bending, it can be divided into core bending and non core bending. According to whether it is heated during bending, it can be divided into cold bending and hot bending. In recent years, new bending processes such as zero radius bending, medium frequency induction bending, thermal stress bending, and laser forming bending have also emerged.

Core rod hot push bending is a special pushing machine that uses a bull angle core rod under axial thrust to heat and push the pipe blank, causing circumferential expansion and axial bending deformation, thereby pushing the smaller diameter pipe blank into a larger diameter elbow.

Roll bending is a method of bending pipes using three rollers. However, roll bending has certain requirements for the bending radius and is only applicable to thick walled pipe fittings with larger curvature radii, making it powerless for small radius bending. The rolling method and working principle are basically the same as sheet metal rolling, except that the rollers used for pipe rolling have a working surface that matches the cross-sectional shape of the pipe blank. When bending, it is only necessary to change the spacing between the master and slave rollers to achieve bending of various curvature radii. The roller is the driving wheel, and the other two are the driven wheels. This method is particularly suitable for bending circular or spiral shaped pipe fittings.

The above are some common processes used in bending pipe processing, hoping to promote understanding of bending pipe processing.
