Recently, the third section of the Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway from Tianmen to Yichang (from Tianmen-Jingmen boundary to the section of the Binjiang Expressway) that was jointly constructed by the company has successfully completed its construction. This marks that the project has entered the countdown for opening to traffic, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent official opening and operation.
The project is located in the central part of Hubei Province. It starts at the junction of Jingmen and Tianmen and ends near Yan Deng Village on the south side of Wuyi Pu Town. The total length of the route is 44.552 kilometers. It adopts the standard of a two-way six-lane expressway and has a design speed of 120 km/h. The Wuyi Pu Interchange is an important connection point between this project and the G55 Binlong Expressway. This interchange needs to cross the currently operating Binlong Expressway and has a design speed of 100 km/h. The project needs to complete the hoisting operation without interrupting traffic, and the construction accuracy requirements are extremely high.
